Carcillo Out For Four Weeks After Collision With Oshie

Last night, Daniel Carcillo took a hip check to the knee, and left the game. Joel Quennville has just announced he'll be out for four weeks. They have yet to call anyone up from Rockford, Chicago's AHL affliate.

If I'm Jeremy Morin, this is my chance. The Morin-Kruger-Smith line had a lot of success in training camp, outscoring all over lines in the official end of camp scrimmage at the UC, and showing Quennville that they can recreate that success in tonight's game against Ottawa will give him a chance to solidify the permanent roster spot he's been fighting for for four seasons.

Morin was first called up in 2010 for three days and two games in the start of November. He was next called up November 30th, and the day after recorded his first NHL goal, assist, and fight after St. Louis. He was then sent back down six days later.  With injuries to Marian Hossa and Viktor Stalberg, Morin was bounced up and down between Chicago and Rockford until he gained a season-ending concussion in January. Over the next three seasons, he played thirty games for Chicago. He's played four regular season games this season, and has yet to record a point.
